Leading Palestinian human rights group Al-Haq has issued a document addressing legal issues surrounding the planned statehood initiative in September.

The paper addresses four main issues: (i) Palestine’s September initiatives; (ii) Palestine’s statehood status in international law; (iii) the procedure for admission as a Member State of the UN; and (iv) the potential implications of these initiatives.
